pizza night in plymouth, or mike posts twice in a row

that's right, i never post two times in a row. or two times in a month, for that matter.

anyway, on monday (labor day), we decided to make pizzas starring some good pepperoni i got during our visit to chicago. we prepared individual pans for liam and max and got them doughed and sauced up (the pans, not the boys). then it was cheese time. we used a mix of mozzarella, parmesan, and a fierce smoked provolone that holli acquired from an evil cheese conjurer who had recently escaped from the eighth circle of hell. seriously, that stuff was nasty, but in the good way. the boys followed the homer simpson system, i.e. one for the pizza, one for me, one for the pizza, one for me.

here was the result so far. look at the fistful of cheese liam is about to devour. and don't worry, the boys quickly ate most of the cheese off the floor before we could stop them, so there wasn't much to clean up. and what's this three-second rule i've heard so much about?

then it was pepperoni time, and some of it actually made it onto the pizzas. actually, when it was time to eat the cooked pizzas, i'm surprised the boys had any room left.

here are the finished products, sans baking, of course. max wanted mushrooms, but liam passed.

so did the boys enjoy their pizza? i know max did.
