Saturday morning while Mike was mowing the grass, the boys and I decided to explore our new neighborhood a bit. We walked over to nearby Webster Elementary to check out their playground. Of course, once he looked around for an instant, Liam decided nothing would do for him except climibing the highest, scariest monkey bars up to a slide.
Liam's daredevil streak continued as he climbed up that thing on the right while Max was happily going down the kiddy slide over and over again. Of course, once he got to the top, Liam couldn't figure out how to get back down and started crying!
The playground has all sorts of cool features. There are the requisite slides and swings (tho no baby swing for Max), and there's a wobbly board to walk across, some modern version of the tin cans tied with string that acts as a cross-playground phone, and this neat upright xylophone:
Finally, here's Max through one of the ladders up to a swing. I like how he's out of focus, but the background is perfectly clear. I guess that's what happens when you set your camera to auto.
