Today at school, Liam had a mock slumber-slash-reading party at school. So of course, tonight he wanted to sleep in a slumber bag all night. I'm not feeling so great, so I thought, "Why not? At least it'll keep me from running up and down the stairs all night long, trying to get them to go to sleep." Immediately upon gaining consent, preparations began:
Once the bags had been put into satisfactory sleeping positions, they relaxed and watched Little Einsteins (their new favorite, which has nearly completely supplanted their brief but passionate affair with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse):
It took a while, but they finally fell asleep. Here they are, dozing peacefully, which is kind of a surprise considering the unexpected power of my camera's flash when it's on the nighttime setting:
P.S. What happened to spring? It seems like we just turned off the furnace, and now it's suddenly hot enough to need the A/C! What gives?
P.P.S. Confidential to Mom: I think I may have stumbled upon a good birthday gift idea here.
