Well, we're back at the hospital again. Henry's got jaundice. It's not a great surprise since both Liam and Max had jaundice, though neither of them had it to this extent. Poor Henry. We had a peaceful weekend, and then we headed to the lab Monday morning just to get his levels checked. They were pretty high, so we were assigned a bili blanket to use at home. It made Henry look like a little glo-worm:


So he spent a full day and night with the light blanket, and this afternoon we headed hopefully back to the lab and the doctor's office, only to find out that his levels had risen instead of fallen. The doctor immediately had him admitted to the hospital for treatment, which should take two or three days. And since I'm the food source, I'll be here at the hospital with him for the duration--a fun way to spend the rest of the week. But seriously, we won't complain if it means that he's getting better. He seems pretty peaceful right now, wearing his little eye mask, with a light under him and one above. Let's hope he stays that way, because he's going to be in that position for quite some time...
